Mission 11 - Imperial Schemes
Head right into Salaheem's Sentinels and watch another long cutscene afterwards you have 1 Vana'diel day before Naja talks to you again so go do something meanwhile in that hour and then come back.
Remember to zone if you just decide to leave your character afk.
Mission 12 - Royal Puppeteer
The second you approach Naja you will enter a cutscene. After a rather lengthy cutscene you will be told you need to obtain a Vial of Jody's Acid.
So where do we get this? Well the good news is that it's right next to us in Wajaom Woodlands or Bhaflau Thickets; the bad news is we fight a malboro mob. Sweet.
The mob is called Ameretat, it has a high drop rate on the Acid and it's Rare/EX so you can't have someone doing the work for you.
To be honest the mob is fairly easy. Duoable, I fought him as BLM/WHM with a RDM/BLM friend and later a lvl 65 BLM friend joined us. We must have killed about 5-6 max before it dropped all 3 acids for us. Sticking Gravity and nuking worked great for us.
I imagine this fight would be a breeze with a Ninja or Paladin as well.
Anyways once you get your Vial of Jody's Acid return back to Al Zhabi, zone into Whitegate and wait for the ship to Nashmau. (Yes, again)
Once you're in Nashmau go to H-7 and speak to Pyopyoroon to trigger a cutscene. He will tell you that ghosts are fond of Vials of Spectral Scent unfortunately he does not have any at all, story of our life isn't it?
Although he adds that if you have a Vial of Jody's Acid he can make a Vial of Spectral Scent for you and lucky for us we came prepared so trade him your Vial of Jody's Acid and receive in return a Vial of Spectral Scent.
Mission 13 - Lost Kingdom
After you receive a Vial of Spectral Scent exit Nashmau towards the West Gate.
Once in Caedarva Mire start heading to the cemetary at E-10 where you will find a tomb with a target point called Jazaraat's Headstone.
Now before you touch the Headstone I must warn you there is a boss fight coming up and only a few jobs can solo this, among them Beastmaster, Summoner, Redmage / Ninja and a Ninja. If you don't have any of the above just get help it's not a hard fight and you can use a runic portal to warp to Caedarva Mire if you don't feel like waiting for the ship to arrive.
Anyways the tombstone needs to be checked a grand total of 3 times before the fight commences.
The first check is a cutscene, everyone needing this fight has to check it. Afterwards check it again to spawn the NM called Jazaraat.
He's a Fomor most likely Corsair as job seeing as he can use Wild Card as a 2 Hour. Besides that he's a pretty generic Fomor fight, he does hit hard so be careful.
A warning is to watch out for the Skeletons around the tomb they will aggro if you are not careful. They only spawn at night so a good call is to either wait until night time has passed or kite him back to zone and fight him there.
Either way after you have beat him head back to the tombstone and check it one more time for another cutscene and a key item: Ephramadian Gold Coin.
A last warning if you have a strong urge to zone out of Caedarva Mire for whatever reason. Don't. If you do you will have to face Jazaraat all over again for the Key item.
Mission 14 - The Dolphin Crest
Return to Naja Sentinels with whatever means you want or have (Warp, Warp Cudgel, Death Warp, D2 or ship) and head over to speak with Naja about the success of your mission obviously that will mean squat and you will get quite a beating.
Mission 15 - The Black Coffin
Finally you get challenging mission and one of the best ones in my opinion.
After the cutscene with Naja go and take the Runic Portal to Dvucca Isle Staging Point.
Once there head west towards F-9 and enter Arrapago Reef. If done correctly you will have zoned at H-10. Go north to H-8 and you will find a ship anchored there. It's called "Cutter". Approach it for a cutscene.
A few things you need to know about this battle, first you are fighting twice in a ship, well more like a pirate ship, with double dark weather conditions. Buffs will be removed upon entrance, except food.
Also the reason you got that gold coin back there was to grant you access to this Burning Circle. If someone doesn't have it he won't be able to go in. Everyone needs one even people who have already cleared this mission. If you want a new coin just go back to the tomb and snatch it fight-free.
First battle pits you against 5 Fomors, 2 Rangers, 2 Red Mages and 1 Corsair. They can be slept although due to them being dark Elemental Seal is required unless you want to trust in lady luck. Lullaby on the other hand gets resisted.
Gessho, the yagudo mercenary will aid you during this fight throwing ninjutsu at the fomors, I recommend to let Gessho start attacking a Fomor, Sleepga the rest and assist whoever Gessho is currently attacking. Fight goes real smooth and you don't waste as many resources for the second fight.
After all 5 Fomors die you will be taken to a second battle with another 5 Fomors. This time their jobs change: 2 Rangers, a Red Mage and a Monk. Wait a minute did I say 5 Fomors I only count 4 there. Oh right you get to fight the Ashu Talif Captain now.
Ok a little info about the captain because he's obviously the tough guy now. He can use a 700 Damage AoE attack called Vulcan Shot making him one mean mother make sure to have your healers ready. You don't need to kill him to win only get him to 20% before he gives up.
So same as before sleep the Fomors and fight the captain you may want to save Elemental Seal for this fight or kite one of the fomors from last battle to regain the ability.
After the fight you will be warped to Nashmau along with Gessho and be given another lengthy cutscene which concludes this mission. Pretty cool mission huh?
Mission 16 - Ghosts of the Past
Head back to Whitegate and to Naja's Sentineels to receive your well earned reward…nothing. No, I'm serious you get absolute jack for this…well you might count a cutscene as something but the only purpose of the cutscene is for you to find out you receive, actually, nothing.
Anyways watch the cutscene and be done with this mission.
Mission 17 - Guests of the Empire
After watching the last cutscene, talk to Naja again to receive another one (if for some reason it doesn't work go and zone back) She will tell you that you have been invited to the palace but you need to wear fashionable clothes (What the hell?).
Here's the deal you can't have a weapon equipped so unequip it, also you need to have Body, Legs, Feet and Hands. They don't have to match.
The catch is only a few Body Armors are allowed. Fear not for I will list all of them:
Adaman Cuirass, Arhat's Gi, Barone Corazza, Black Cloak, Black Cotehardie, Blessed Briault, Blue Cotehardie, Byrnie, Brigandine, Cardinal Vest, Chasuble, Dusk Jerkin, Dragon Harness, Errant Houppelande, Hachiman Domaru, Haubergeon, Hauberk, Holy Breastplate, Homam Corazza, Igqira Weskit, Jaridah Peti, Justaucorps, Nashira Manteel, Noble's Tunic, Pahluwan Khazagand, Scorpion Harness, Sipahi Jawshan, Sha'ir Manteel, Vermillion Cloak.
And the High Quality for any of the above mentioned Armors.
After you've done the necessary improvements to your wardrobe you can head into the palace at L-9 also don't forget to unequip your weapon or you won't be able to enter and have 1 unused slot in your inventory for your reward which is a Mythril coin but if you don't have space for it you will have to watch all the cutscene again.
Mission 18 - Passing Glory
Go back to Naja's Sentineels and speak to Naja to trigger yet another cutscene. After watching it wait for Japanese Midnight, go and zone and then speak to Naja again to trigger another cutscene.
Mission 19 - Sweets for the Soul
Finish the cutscene given by Naja and head over to Shararat Teahouse in Whitegate, approaching the teahouse will trigger the cutscene.
Mission 20 - Teahouse Tumult
Watch the cutscene shown and pick any option, order does not matter and you will have to watch them all anyway.
Now you need to head to Aydeewa Subterrane to continue this mission. Sneak and Invisible are required, if you don't have a mage job or subjob just go and buy Silent Oils and Prism Powders. After you're ready gearing up head to Al Zhabi and zone into Wajaom Woodlands go to G-7 and zone in to Aydeewa Subterrane. The second you zone you'll get a cutscene, after the cutscene you will have 2 paths available to pick.
Basically it's either go through an area with Chigoes or don't.
Chigoe path: Keep going until an intersection, then go south. You'll appear in a small room with a pond, take the South exit and keep going until you arrive at a big open area at F-9. This is the Chigoe area so be careful. You can hardly see them as they are little red dots and you can't target them making them harder to avoid. I'm hoping Sneak and Invisible are on.
Go west and drop down the ledge once you drop go straight until you run into a blank targetable spot on the ground at F-8.
Not Chigoe path: Back at the small pond instead of going south take the north exit then go west at the fork and take the southern path to the other map (D-8), continue until you see the blank targetable spot on the ground at F-8.
Clicking on the blank spot will gain you a cutscene, don't worry about getting aggro while watching the cutscene but be ready to bail once it's over. You have been warned.
